Image Cache on Dreamhost
Reported by piku | June 26th, 2008 @ 03:00 AM | in 1.1
Just want to give a heads up, and maybe even see if this is true for real, but I just tried a couple of test installs (different DBs, directories, etc. as well on a different web host) and it seems that image caching just don't work on Dreamhost(?)
Please do let me know what info I/we can provide as this might be server related for sure... but I do notice that you test on different environments. So thought this would help everyone, just to get it noted and cached via search results.

I tried 777 as well.
Seems like there is a new release. I'll try this later this weekend and hopefully that fixes it. But I don't think this is "invalid" as there are others in Dreamhost having the same problem, at least before when I posted this ticket.

But in any case, it's Dreamhost or your configuration problem. We're simply making use of standard PHP functions to write files.
There's nothing I can do.
