Modifying My Post Links
Reported by Niko | October 3rd, 2008 @ 02:32 AM
My English is kind of bad so if I use the wrong terminology I apologize.
I am grabbing the RSS feeds fine, and they post to my blog correctly. However I am looking for a way to modify the title post link.
So when the user click on an article instead of staying in my site and seeing the post gets taken to the RSS permalink. Reading the comments in your devthought.com site it seems that a lot of people wanted that option, ability to link back to the originating site.
Is there a way to do the opposite? I want to link to the feed in the post, but I still want everything to be in my site for the SEO aspect of things.

I just realized something what gets modified is: wpo_sourcepermalink
So the RSS feed overrides my site's permalink for the source permalink.
I hope that helps.

I did some more research yet again. Here is how he is doing it:
|guid isPermaLink="false">http://www.sitenamehere.com/2008...</guid|
I replaced < with | just in case HTML kicks in. So in his feed he is changing the isPermalink to false. Is there a way to block this hi-jack? Or should I just choose better feeds?
