WP O Matic does not like feed URLs with "&" in them?
Reported by Marcus | November 21st, 2008 @ 12:30 AM
Is there a fix that will allow WP O Matic to accept fetch a feed with "&" in the feed URL?
Ex: http://www.articlepros.com/rss.p...
This works in all my feed readers, but not in WP O Matic?
Any I can do to fix?

I mentioned in the Google News ticket that I was able to get this feed URL into WP-o-Matic:
http://api.flickr.com/services/f...
By that, I mean that it accepted it - I did not attempt to post any items from the feed.

Well, here is what I figured out....
If I open the database in MyPHPAdmin and open the table called wp_campaign_feed, and open the record called "url" I can edit the actual feed address to eliminate the "&" that WPOMatic adds when it is inputted and replace it with a "&". Then it works right.
Hope that helps whoever has this problem.

Ah yes - it seems Linda in the Google News ticket found the same thing.
I'm sure this is something that can be anticipated when adding a URL, so this is probably fixable within the code that adds the feed URL to the database.
