With a .XML file, the wp:meta_key are not saved

Hi,
i try to fetch a single .XML file, and in this, i have:
<wp:postmeta> <wp:meta_key>naissance</wp:meta_key> <wp:meta_value>1999</wp:meta_value> </wp:postmeta>
and when i fetch it, this passage is not show and not parsed, why?
