Would like to *really* reset a feed

Reported by Robert Kieffer (broofa) | January 2nd, 2009 @ 01:06 PM

Experimenting with WPOMatic is difficult because there is no way to reset a campaign back to it's pre-fetched state.

This is important because until you have a chance to see what effect a WPO setting has, it's hard to know if it's the right choice or not. You pretty much have to be able to pick a setting, "fetch" the posts to see how they look, then reset the campaign and refetch it with a different setting... until you've got things working properly.

But that's not possible right now. The only solution is to completely delete a campaign and start over each time.

I recommend adding "Delete all campaign posts?" checkbox as part of the campaign "reset" function. With this checked, the "reset" function would remove all of the campaign posts and (IMPORTANT) all of the corresponding entries in the wp_wpo_campaign_post table.

This would allow us to quickly click "reset" and then "fetch" to regenerate the posts for a given campaign, making it super-easy to play around with the campaign settings.
