Time stamps not working, "<" characters not passing

It seems that even when I check "Use feed date" it still shows the time stamp of when WP-matic fetched the files. As well as if you check out this site I'm working on as you can see in the attached image, the HTML isn't coded properly. Any idea why?

I have a similar issue at my site www.fluffles.com I check use feed date but it still gets posted on the day it's fetched.
