Duplicate Content being posted

I following YouTUbe Feeds...
Example
http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/users/Carscom/uploads
And have an intermittent problem wherein a fetched items will be repeated 4-6 times. For example a post with 25 items might yield over 100 posts with 75 being duplicates.
I have modified the code, but do not see how it would it would cause this bug so I believe they are unreleated (which is why I am opening the ticket). My modification consist of.
Under
processItem()
I added a function that adds a few extra custom fields.
Please let me know if this is a known bug. Happy to provide a full sample of the code I'm using if that might help.

I am waiting for further instructions (basic how-to) on how to apply the fix at the end of that thread. Or hopefully if someone else takes over this project they could upload a fixed wp-o-matic - until this plugin author fixes things.
