Threat from another blog owner

I just uploaded your software yesterday, set it to give credits and pingbacks. But today I received a very nasty email from another blog owner stating that by placing her content on my site, changing a few words and adding pictures I was guilty of plagerism and that she would report me to google and have me blacklisted.

By using the plugin am I doing as she said, and can I face reprocussions?
If I choose to use this plugin do I need to get permission from the owners of the blogs I link to?

I am new to blogging (less than 2 months) so this is very scary territory for me.
Technically, was I in the wrong?
