Cache Images Folder

Right now when i try to fetch some rss,
If the images have a long name like this:
0cce1_Joanna%2Bhot%2Bshots%2B%25E2%2580%259CJoJo%25E2%2580%259D%2BLevesque%2Bimages%2Band%2Bstills-1.jpg
The Url, its going to be too long, example:
http://mydomain.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cache/0cce1_Joann...
And this provokes, a missing picture (BROKEN LINK)
Is there a way to change the CACHE path to this for example:
http://mydomain.com/cache/
Or extend the number of characters alowed for the reference url?
