Use Feed Date" doesn't Seem to be Working

I have installed WP-o-Matic on over 26 feeds and this is the first time I've noticed this issue. When I set up a new campaign for a site I have been setting "Use Feed Date" in the options section. I've just noticed that none of the feeds keep the original date when "fetched". All the dates display the date I fetched the feed.
Is this an issue or my misperception?
