Wp-Omatic and Wordpress 2.5.1

Reported by capecodgal6779 | July 8th, 2008 @ 01:26 PM

I can not for the life of me to get this to work on 2.5.1; I love the plugin and have used it many times in the past. On all other installs (same server) I believe it is still working after upgrading wordpress; this time around the wordpress was on version 2.5.1 when it was installed and the wp-omatic is not working with it.

No errors which is the strangest part. When I go to configure it I get the prompts for the setup except when I click next nothing happens... its all there and looks like it wants to work but just nothing happens when I click next so I can't get passed the initial setup.

Any ideas on what may be the cause is it a compatability issue with worpress 2.5.1?

I should have posted the other day but forgot until I saw the reply so thanks for reminding me!

Its not an issue in worpress - the problem is a plugin and I just don't know which one yet.

Deactivate all your plugins then load wp-omatic and set it up; then activate your plugins again and all should be well.

I unloaded about 7 plugins so I have yet to test which one is the culprit but once they were gone my wp-omatic worked with no issues; once all the plugins are re-activated you may still have trouble adding additional campaigns so if that happens just deactivate the plugins again as a work around until there is more info on this issue

Try a fresh install. Install a new blog of wordpress and load the wp-omatic as the first plugin before you start customizing anything and see if that works. Thats how I realized it wasn't wordpress that was the issue.

If that works then there is something else in your blog that is causing the problem; in my setup it was plugins but its possible there is something else that may effect this script.

Weird... there must be a weird conflict with another plugin. I use it in many 2.5.1 installations.
