  Tested the feed using simplepie plugin for wordpress and it works but still doesn't work in WPOM. I thought I have the same problem since WPOM uses simplepie but it appears to be a problem in WPOM. I'm hoping this will work because WPOM provides more (non-coding) customization.

  I had the same error... however, my solution was to shorten the feed url using www.tinyurl.com. Once I did this, I copied the tinyurl link and pasted it in the WP-o-matic feed box and I could then receive ebay feeds.

  It took an extra step, but it works great! I hope this helps the developer make the necessary changes to eliminate this small workaround in the future.
