  There have been several hacks to fix this issue, up until WP 2.6 has been released. Now all the known fixes no longer work. It would be really nice if this issue could be resolved without having to fiddle with WordPress' core files.

  I'm willing to help with any testing (and maybe even a little funding) the developers need to get this issue resolved asap. Great plugin -- just wish this little bug would go away. :)

  I am also having issues with this. Though in my case I'm getting 7x and more duplicate posts. Having to go in and manually delete the extras one by one is needless to say, annoying.

  I await an update, or will find something else to use.

  Just a warning to all... the duplicate posts is not the only problem with this plugin. It seems fine at first, but once you have 3000+ posts coming in, it really starts bogging down the database. At one point, I couldn't even make a new post of my own because it adds three custom fields per wp-o-matic post, and for some reason each and every custom field starts showing up and loading when you go to write a post. I had to go through my wp-meta database table and manually delete all these custom fields.

  I would strongly advise to find another plugin all together.
