wp-o-matic - fsockopen error

I have recently installed wp-o-matic but really struggling to
get it running.
I am not a coder, so life is all the more difficult.
when I try to add a campaign feed, I get an error -
Feed http://www.jensense.com/feed/ could not be parsed (SimplePie said: fsockopen error: )
Then I installed the latest version of SimplePie & SimplePie core. even that did not help.
Can you please guide how to resolve this issue & getting going..
