Dedicated Server Hanging O-matic?

Hi,
We are using Omatic to extract feeds we have a 8GB memory Core i7 dedicated server.

The cron is set up to run every 3 minutes to pull new feeds. From time to time the server hangs and we have to process a hard reset. All memory is used up and CPU load is almost 100%.

Can this be related to O-matic?
