Curl location

I am getting crazy errors all over my Wordpress blog, as well as within the admin area. There are many errors, but they're mostly a variation of this:
Warning: is_executable() [function.is-executable]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/usr/local/jdk/bin/curl) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/okpjcom:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in /home/okpjcom/public_html/log/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/inc/tools.class.php on line 88
If you want to see them all, go to log.okpj.com.
I think I can attribute the errors to the location of Curl on my host. My Curl is located in /usr/bin/curl as opposed to the normal /usr/local directory.
What can I do in order to fix this or can something be implemented within the plugin to fix this? I'm using 1.0RC3 for whatever it's worth.
