Images aren't appearing

Hello, I have installed WP-o-matic version 1.0RC4-6 on 2 servers, with Wordpress 2.6, and it is fetching the posts but I am only getting text urls instead of the images. I have enabled image caching and set the directory permissions but nothing is appearing in the cache either. Is there something I've missed, or can you suggest a fix for this please? Thanks for your help
